A continuous water supply system has generated significant interest in India due to its many advantages. Also it is
useful for conserving water and its quality. Nowadays demand for drinking water is increasing day by day with corresponding
increase in population. The present study shows the remodelling of existing network and also designing the water distribution
network using a programming tool, which performs the extended period simulation of hydraulic and water quality behaviour
within the pressurized network of pipes called watergems. This paper demonstrates the use of watergems for the hydraulic study
of the distribution network.
