Answer 4 Billion Global Awareness Icebreaker Option 2: Greater Than (>) or Less Than (<) For this icebreaker, the leader will present a global fact to 1. Ask your students what it “looks like” to be poor. Students may share things like a lack of housing, food, or access to education or medical care. 2. Tell students: ¡¡ It’s true—there are a lot of things that the poor in our world do not have. For the next 24 hours, we are going to focus on an aspect of poverty/ violence that we often don’t think about—because it’s often hidden. ¡¡ In many areas of the world, it’s actually dangerous to be poor. the crowd of students and they will then vote with their feet.
