Dear Partner in ministry,
With Thanksgiving upon us, I want to share with you a little of what I’m thankful for. Having just completed Revelation Today: Hope For Humanity, I’m thankful for what God has done in Baltimore, Maryland.
I am thankful that I can look forward to God doing more great things.
Soon after attending our Bible worker training in Baltimore, Sharon began studying the Bible with three women, utilizing the It Is Written Bible Study Guides. All three women were excited about what they were hearing. One of her students, Linda, had been addicted to drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes, but had seen God give her the victory over each.
Tragically, with just one night left in the Baltimore series, Sharon—who had served as a greeter every night—unexpectedly passed away. While our hearts were heavy, Linda made the decision to be baptized on the final night of the series, to honor both Jesus and Sharon. What made the decision more challenging for Linda is that she is afraid of water! But after praying and seeking God’s will, Linda walked into the baptismal pool and joyfully surrendered her life to God. Sharon’s other Bible study contacts were both baptized the week following the series. I’m thankful that Sharon will see her friends in heaven!
This year, we significantly expanded our broadcasting footprint. I am thankful that It Is Written is now being watched in more places than ever before.
I am thankful that It Is Written evangelism training is surging forward. SALT, our evangelism training school, experienced record attendance this year. Students came from all around the United States to learn how to share their faith and lead people to a saving relationship with Jesus.
And I am thankful that I can look forward to God doing more great things. We have a full evangelism calendar for 2026, with evangelistic meetings planned
Without you…. There would be no one watching It Is Written anywhere at all.
in Bermuda, Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas, as well as Africa, Central America, South America, and Europe. I am thankful that in the coming year, It Is Written will add even more new broadcasting outlets, and that, in addition to our SALT school in Tennessee, we are establishing a new SALT program in Lincoln, Nebraska, on the campus of Union Adventist University.
I’m thankful that Melissa and I are now grandparents, that our family is well and blessed, and that God continues to lead extraordinary people to become part of the It Is Written team.
And I’m incredibly thankful for you. Without you, there would be no Linda being baptized. There would be no one watching It Is Written, Escrito Está, or It Is Written TV anywhere at all. There would be no evangelism training, no children’s ministries, no It Is Written mission trips, and no It Is Written Bible workers leading people to faith in Christ. Without you, there would be countless fewer people giving their hearts to Jesus.
You make all of this possible. I cannot adequately express to you how thankful I am. As God moves upon your heart this Thanksgiving, please know that your Thanksgiving gift to It Is Written will result in more souls being won, more lost people being saved, and more prodigal sons and daughters returning home to the Father. In fact, immediately after Thanksgiving this year, I will be joining Pastor Robert Costa in Bogotá, Colombia, for the conclusion of a major It Is Written evangelism project. More than 18,000 people will have been baptized in this initiative, and your investment in souls, with God’s powerful blessing, has made this happen.
Your gift now will enable us to conduct evangelistic meetings, create soul-winning programming for television and the internet, produce more disciple-making resources, and introduce more people to the Savior.
