Women's Selection Report

We have had yet another eventful and challenging season with Covid and heat abandoned games. We only managed 15 of our 18 games on Tuesday, but we are pleased to say that our three divisions all managed to hold onto their divisions and we will have Premier, 1 Green and Division 2 in 2022/23. Our Saturday ladies also all managed to hold onto their divisions playing 16 of their 18 games, so we will have 1 Red, 1 Blue and 3 Blue next season.

I was once told "no division will go down - not on my shift". Well, I can also say this was achieved this season due to all those ladies who stepped up and made it possible for me to say "not on my shift".

All in all a fantastic result for all Women Pennant players. Our Women Pennant Players voted not to participate in the weekly voting system this year, so Selection decided to record all Tuesday Women Pennant player results on a spread sheet. Charmain recorded all results after each game and came up with a clear winner. Our Women's "Pennants Bowler of the year" is Lorraine Hyde. Congratulations!
