I would like to thank all those that helped in the setting up and running of the day (there are so many of you). A special mention to the croquet ladies who made the magnificent morning tea. We are so lucky to have such dedicated volunteers in our Club, Thank you to Pauline Marsden for your assistance in putting all the procedures in place.

John Godfrey and I share similar goals and values, going forward we each aspire to work together as a united club and for every member whether they be bowlers, croquet, darts or social members to feel valued and respected. On and off the greens this will be a very successful year. Stay well, good luck and good bowling. – Jan Cook

Getting to Know Our Members

Luckily for Sorrento Bowling Club, Jan Power-Tuke doesn’t like being stuck in traffic! It was the “driving” force behind her departure from Manning Bowling Club (a club she loved) in 2019 when looking for a new Club a little closer to home.

In her first season at Sorrento, Jan skippered in Tuesday pennants for the 1 Green North side, helping them to promotion to 1 White for this season.

Jan’s first sporting love has always been golf. Growing up in New South Wales as part of a golfing family, it was no surprise when she
