Minimum qualification and eligibility for Admission in Diploma Courses for the Session 2020-21 1) Diploma Engineering Eligibility for this course is that the student must pass class 10th with 35% marks (33% for candidates of categories: Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribes) and must be a compulsory qualified in science and mathematics. 2) Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry) Eligibility for this course is that the student must pass 10+2/ ITI (02 years).

Now here is the procedure for admission in polytechnic: The polytechnic courses are very popular among the engineering aspirants. The process of admission in polytechnic colleges in India is managed by the concerned government authority of the different states, for example Delhi CET, JEECUP for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand JEEP etc. It is a three years full time technical course. But many private Polytechnic Colleges do not require entrance examination for admission since they offer direct admission in their streams. Note: College must be approved by AICTE and concerned state board of technical education, which is compulsory for every technical college or else the diploma will be invalid.
