Event Name: Webinar on IOT under CSI Local Chapter.

Date Of Event: On 17th May, 2020 under chapter CSI The Department of computer science and engineering successfully organized a Webinar on “Internet of Things” under the CSI chapter, which was highly acclaimed by the students as well as the faculty members of the department. The Internet of Things is simply "A network of Internet connected objects able to collect and exchange data." It is commonly abbreviated as IoT. In a simple way to put it, you have "things" that sense and collect data and send it to the internet. At the beginning, it seemed difficult but later, it was easy for students to ask queries and make their technical understandings as practical connections were made for deep learning. Students could understand The Internet of Things (IoT), also sometimes referred to as the Internet of Everything (IoE), consists of all the web-enabled devices that collect, send and act on data they acquire from their surrounding environments using embedded sensors, processors and communication hardware. Thus a remarkable event.

Training Facilities: CS_Dept At the department of CSE, we have having various training activities regarding students in various discipline.

A training program allows you to strengthen those skills that each student needs to improve. A development program brings all employees to a higher level so they all have similar skills and knowledge. This helps reduce any weak links within the company who rely heavily on others to complete basic work tasks. Technically skilled graduates can also save employers money, as they do not require so much training to get to a particular level. In addition, they can prevent technical issues from occurring, increase customer satisfaction and reduce technical problems before they arise. Thus, we offer various technical training programs in CISCO, Machine Learning, Software Testing, Python programming Language and many more to overcome difficulties faced by students in tough times.

Industrial Visit: 2020_CS Student Visited: Aptron Pvt Ltd sector 2 Noida Date: 2nd March, 2020 for the branches cse 2 &3 yr. Even semester 2019-2020. The students were highly overwhelmed to visit the company to generate new skills and learn about product development in various sectors.

Webinar on Big Data Technologies Event Name: Webinar on Big Data Technologies.

Date of Event: 18 April 2020 The Department of computer science and engineering organized a webinar based on “Big Data Technologies” on 18 April 2020, which was a highly remarkable session and purely based on Hadoop Framework. The Guest of honor was Ms. Rakhi Singh and Mr.Mayank as they both are senior data scientists having 15 + years of experience in the field. More than 130 participants joined the session and it was filled with knowledge and pure distributed architecture.

Hadoop is an open-source software framework for storing data and running applications on clusters of commodity hardware. It provides massive storage for any kind of data, enormous processing power and the ability to handle virtually limitless concurrent tasks or jobs. It was a remarkable session.

Training & Placement @ 2020 The training and placement activities at IIMT have marked yet another year of success as a top placement provider. In the current session the training and placement department has, undergone 60 + students placed collectively of both semesters until date in reputed companies like TCS, Web Kul Pvt ltd In addition, many more.
