what I have been up to... HELLO EVERYONE! THIS PAST MONTH HAS BEEN VERY EVENTFUL AS I HAVE BEEN LEARNING THE ROPES TO THIS NEW POSITION AS LTG. SOME THINGS I HAVE BEEN
My home club and I held our last cap sorting day. We collected these caps to build benches to put up around our school and community.
WORKING ON ARE AS FOLLOWS... ~I HELD MY FIRST DCM ON MARCH 25TH AND THE NEXT ONE WILL BE TOWARDS THE END OF APRIL AND I HOPE TO SEE MORE PEOPLE IN ATTENDENCE. ~I HAVE SENT OUT NUMEROUS EMAILS TO KEEP CLUBS UP TO DATE ON IMPORTANT TOPICS. ONE VERY IMPORTANT ONE IS CLUB OFFICER ROSTERS, WHICH SHOULD BE TURNED IN ASAP. ~LASTLY I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MYSELF MORE ORGANIZED TO BETTER HELP YOU ALL AS MUCH AS I CAN. SO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND I KNOW THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE AMAZING:) YOURS IN SERVICE, MADI
Sadly this summer’s International Conference has been canceled and moved to a virtual format. That does not mean we can not look forward for next year! Keep your spirits high and keep up with all of the great service projects:)
service project ideas... IF YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME COMING UP WITH SERVICE PROJECT IDEAS I AM HERE TO HELP! SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO COME UP WITH THINGS TO DO TO HELP OUT IN YOUR COMMUNITY AND THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF KEY CLUB. HERE ARE A FEW IDEAS AND EXPLANATIONS... ~COLLECT NON PERISHABLE FOOD FOR A LOCAL FOOD PANTRY. YOU DO NEED TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE EXCEPTING DONATIONS BEFORE YOU START COLLECTING! ~YOU CAN HOLD A BLOOD DRIVE THROUGH THE RED CROSS. THIS IS SOMETHING I STARTED DOING LAST SUMMER AND IF YOU WANTED TO HOLD A DRIVE YOU COULD CONTACT THE RED CROSS AND GET ONE SCHEDULED. ~PAINT AND HIDE ROCKS. THIS IS SOMETHING MY HOME CLUB IS GOING TO DO AND I HAVE SEEN MANY OTHER CLUBS TACKLE THIS FUN, CREATIVE PROJECT.

service spotlight Byron Key Club has been busy with a few club service projects. They held their yearly Valentines blood drive and they made bookmarks for elementary school students in their school district. If your club has any photos from service projects please send them to me!
