What an exciting time to be a member of IIAH. The annual BIG I Day was held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 with a record number of attendees and exhibitors. It was great to see everyone back in person after our hybrid virtual/in person event last year. I believe that the Mardi Gras theme was enough to put everyone in the party spirit! We kicked off the festivities with our annual YIPS Happy Hour on Tuesday evening. I know that there were over 150 people enjoying the libations and pizza. Thanks to our sponsors for continuing this tradition. Wednesday brought over 800 agents and 500 exhibitors to the biggest and best Insurance Industry trade show in the southern United States! Hats off to our HID committee and Renee and Ayla for putting this great event together each and every year. It just keeps getting bigger and better. Another special thank you to all of our exhibitors and sponsors. We couldn’t do it without you guys and you outdo yourself every year with your decorations and giveaways. It is the most anticipated event of the IIAH year and you guys never disappoint!! I would say that I apologize for the crowded aisles, but it was so great to see so many people visiting the booths, that I think it was a huge plus instead of a drawback! I did notice that the booths and exhibitors serving beverages associated with Mardi Gras and New Orleans, were packed with people, just saying!!
