Irish Hospitality Institute The Irish Hospitality Institute was founded in 1966 as the professional body for managers in the hotel, tourism and catering industries in Ireland, collectively known as the hospitality industry. It is a membership organisation with a focus on the professional interests and needs of hospitality professionals in Ireland.

Since its foundation, the Irish Hospitality Institute has promoted professional development through the organisation of seminars, conferences, networking opportunities, management and training initiatives.

Our Mission "To lead and encourage hospitality professionals to generate knowledge, take responsibility for their own professional development and to promote excellence in our industry "

Organisational Structure The IHI is managed by a President, Board, National Executive Officer and team. Board Members are leading Hospitality & Tourism Industry Professionals with a diverse range of expertise in the areas of Tourism, Education, Hotel, Catering and Culinary Management.

IHI Patron Programme The IHI Patron Programme has been at the heart of IHI since 1995. Patrons are a valued group of organisations who provide essential funding support to the IHI. This funding aids the IHI in the continued formation of seminars, conferences, networking opportunities, management and training initiatives.

Patrons are recognised by Industry practitioners for their support of professional development of our Institute and industry.

The IHI facilities the introduction in building relationship between Patrons and IHI Members.

IHI Patron Programme Fee The IHI Patron Progamme is a three year agreement with annual reviews . The cost per year €6,350.00.

IHI Hospitality & Tourism Professionals Day & Hospitality Management Awards Sponsorship Opportunities The Irish Hospitality Management Awards are now recognised as the key industry event for Hospitality & Tourism Professionals. Across the thirteen award categories, we recognise the significant commitment and contribution by the nominee to their business and to the Industry.
