Welcome to a genuine skiexperience in Skeikampen Skeikampen Resort is a family destination in the mountains, 800 meters above sea level, and known as a safe family friendly surroundings.

Skeikampen has 9 ski lifts and 2 conveyor belts.

21 slopes from green to black provides diversity for the whole family. Most of our accommodation options are within walking distance to the ski slopes. Daily bus transportation between Skeikampen and Lillehammer from 19.12. Trains several times a day from Oslo Airport and Oslo to Lillehammer. Skeikampen is 35 min. by car from Lillehammer, and 2 hours 45 min from Oslo.

Children 0-6 years can use the lifts free of charge when using a helmet and key-card. Youth: 7-15 years. Adult: 16-64 years.

Your safety is your responsibility Read the common sense rules for skiing and snowboarding.

The rules applies on the slopes and in the ski parks.

1. Responsbility to avoid injuries. Never ski in a manner that puts you or others at risk of injury.

2. Adapt the speed. Adapt speed and skiing technique to your skiing ability, as well as terrain, snow conditions and traffic.

3. Right of way. Skiing straight down the hill is strictly prohibited except during orgainsed training sessions.

4. Passing other skiers Skiers coming from behind are responsible for avoiding collisions.

5. Enter the slope, skiing, or turns. Skiers entering a slope or crossing a slope must aviod all risk of danger.

6. Stop on the slopes. Never stop in narrow passages or areas with poor visibility.

7. By foot on the slopes. Skiers walking up the hill must walk on the far edges of the slope.

8. Safety straps/ ski stoppers. All skiers must have ski stoppers or safety straps on their skis, and make sure their bindings are properly adjusted.

9. Respect all signs. Comply with all signs, directional markings, warnings and instructions.

10. Accidents. You are obliged to help injured skiers.

All witnesses and persons involved in an accident must provide full name and address.

Alcohol, drugs, and skiing do not mix. If the 10 rules are not followed you can be banished from the ski area. We also refer to the ÂŤrules for the terrain parkÂť that are posted at the ticket offices and park entrance.

General information Children and lift: Children younger than 10 years or between 110 cm and 125 cm tall can only use the chair lifts when an adult is present. The safety bar must not be opened before entering the top station, but have to be opened before the skis touches the ground.

Weather conditions: Weather and snow conditions can change rapidly in the mountains. As a guest it is your own responsibility to check snow- and weather conditions before you purchase ski pass, ski equipment, or ski school. No refund in foul weather, fog, snow, unexpected shutdowns, ice, etc.

Terms and conditions for ski pass, ski rental and ski school: We kindly ask all our guests to read our terms and conditions when purchasing ski pass, ski rental, or ski school. T&C can be found, in the ticket office, ski rental, and ski school. It is prohibited to ski on slopes that are closed with signs or physical closed. Skiing outside groomed slopes is done at your own risk.

When the ski lifts are closed, the area is seen as an industrial-/ building site area, and is closed for all unauthorized personnel.

3000 sqm children’s area

The 3000 sqm large children’s area in Skeikampen is located in a safe area at the bottom of the ski resort. The area is mainly for children, beginners and their families.

The children’s area offers 2 conveyor belts and a smaller ski lift named «The clothes line». The children’s area is suitable for winter fun with or without skis. Here it is possible to combine fun and skiing.

There is two bbq-huts for self service, and benches to sit on.

When the need for indoor comes, the Kampen Kafé is just next to the childrens area, with toilets and indoor playground. There are also toilets in the same building as the ticket office. A lavvo (tent) is in use for the children attending the ski school.

Insurance is only valid on groomed slopes in the ski resort. The ski rental can charge you for compensation of damaged equipment due to careless use, or skiing outside the groomed slopes. Lost equipment must be replaced.

Ski service We can prepare your skis, so you will get a better ski experience. We offer ski service on all type of skis and snow boards.

We have a special machine that sharpen the edges, waxes, and polish your skis. You will experience skis with a better glide, you will have better control of your skiing, and in that way better safety. All types of skis from NOK 350 per pair.

Please come inside and we will look your skis over, and offer our guidance on what your skis need.

Cross country

Cross country skiing Skeikampen offers over 150 km groomed tracks. In addition the tracks are connected to the tracks in GĂĽlĂĽ and Kvitfjell, which in total offers more than 600 km of groomed tracks. The tracks meanders through both beautiful mountainous terrain with views to Rondane and Jotunheimen National Park, and through the lower forest- and marsh terrain. Most tracks are groomed for both skating and classic cross country.

The tracks are groomed every night, and on skisporet.no you can follow which tracks are groomed at any given time. When cross country skiing, always tell someone where you are going, and bring with you a fully charged cell phone. The track map on page 20 and 21 can be bought in stores and receptions at Skeikampen for NOK 55,18

Flood lighted track 04.11.2016 - 17.04.2017: Lights until 22 hrs. every day. 1,8 km one way (total 3,6 km) with double width. The whole length has lights, and is covered with manmade snow. It starts at Skitorget, through Skeikampen Fjellandsby, and down towards the river.

Swimming pool The swimming pool is located inside the Velkomstsenter, and is available for all guests visiting Skeikampen. The pool is 12,5 m long and 7 m wide. The depth varies between 1 m and appx. 1,70 m, and the temperature is 25 degrees. Sauna in each wardrobe.

Solarium (coins). There is no life guard, so an adult must accompany children under the age of 15 years old. Adults NOK 80,- children NOK 50,- The reception sells swim gear and various swim items.

Skei Fjellkirke The Skei Fjellkirke (Skei Mountain Church) is beautiful located in spruce forest by the foot of Skeikampen. The church was consecrated on the 4th of November 2001 by Bishop Rosemarie Kรถhn who was bishop at that time. Skei Mountain Church is owned by a foundation and is run by locals working in their spare time. The altar piece is painted by Margrethe II, her Majesty the Queen of Denmark. The church was built by the help of locals, tourists, and many local businesses.

The church is open for public once a week during the main season. The church can be rented for weddings, christenings, concerts, and other celebrations. Look for posters in the reseption.
