WHAT IS A LAMINAR AIRFLOW CABINET? A laminar airflow cabinet is a closed cabinet fitted with HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter airflow system. The air flows with a steady, uniform velocity of 0.3 m/s to 0.5 m/s. The inwards flow of air through one or more HEPA filters creates a particulate-free environment for carrying out specialised work. The instrument protects the product from contaminants.
