About our hospitals We are working to improve our exchanges! We have the best hospitals in every city, more departments available for you with friendly and didactical tutors.
Students will perform procedures within most hospitals. Also, the students will improve their clinical and exploratory skills during their exchanges. We have 25 Local Committees distributed in 13 cities. We share this information with you because we know how important the academic part is in the decisions of exchange students. Ethical aspects Within our exchanges, students must comply with ethical rules, which depend on each hospital. Usually in hospitals, students will make procedures always supervised by their tutor with a prior instruction of these procedures. During the exchange, you will learn about the multiculturalism that exists in Peru with each patient that you will attend.
Extra documents Some local committees request additional documents for both the hospital and the university. These requirements must be reviewed at the LC's Exchange conditions that you are going to apply to verify when they must be delivered. As soon as the acceptance letter arrives, you should contact your LEO (Contact person 1) for more information about the local program. During this process, there are sometimes administrative modifications in hospitals or universities.

Social Programs We have social programs that are sent to our incomings at least one month before your arrival, so we are entirely sure that you will enjoy getting to know each place in our incredible country. Â We have a national social program that includes trips to different tourist places in Peru. It is carried out in conjunction with incomings found in other cities in the country that, like you, are involved in their exchange. Also, within the Social program of your local association finds dates to carry out different cultural, tourist, and academic activities. Some of them are the welcome dinner, international dinner, or national party of food and drink. In these activities, we will share our traditions and, in turn, we will delight in various typical foods that we prepare to share with you and also you will make us a meal or a traditional drink from your country.
Within the social program, academic activities will be held, which will help to strengthen and increase the knowledge you possess. Therefore, clinical case procedures, conversations about health systems of our NMO, and clinical workshops in which you can participate will be performed. Likewise, activities are programmed, such as the UAT, that will provide you with valuable information that will help you to get around our country. You will also be able to participate in different activities carried out by the local association through which you make your exchange. We share this valuable information with you for the sole purpose of motivating you to make your exchange in our NMO. We say goodbye to you, not without mentioning that we continue working to improve our exchange program. Peru, an astonishing country full of history, culture, and adventure awaits you.
