International Federation of Medical Students' Assotiations (IFMSA) was founded in May 1951 and is run by medical students, for medical students, on a nonprofit basis. IFMSA is officially recognized as a non-governmental Organization within the United Nations' system and has official relations with the World Health Organization. It is the international forum for medical students, and the largest medical student organization in the World.
