The International Examiner has been at the heart of Seattle's International District as a community newspaper for over 40 years. Rooted in the civil rights and Asian American movement of the Northwest, The International Examiner is Seattle's Asian Pacific Islander newspaper. The May 4, 2016 issue features a 16-page insert that connects the fear that led to the World War II incarceration of Japanese and Japanese Americans to the fear of immigrants and Muslims in today's world.
