Scholarship for Diversity One of Clifford Chance’s global corporate principles is diversity. In all spheres we enjoy working with people of different nationalities and cultures, with different experiences and backgrounds. We are convinced that this enriches us, as well as our clients.

To this end, the Clifford Chance Scholarship for Diversity aims to award young IE University students who, based on these different realities, have a series of competencies and interests including: a legal calling and the pursuit of excellence, passion for international, dynamic and highquality work and making the client the focus of all our work.

Clifford Chance has collaborated with IE University from its inception, granting scholarships to three law students and our feedback on them is enormously positive. They all have a calling to international work, multidisciplinary interests and considerable, healthy ambition, something which foreshadows exceptional professional careers.

Aside from the general requirements for the Scholarship Program, applicants should indicate on the application those aspects of their profile which stand out in one way or another showing their international spirit.

DESCRIPTION

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT

Scholarship designed for admitted students who demonstrate academic excellence and an international background or inclination. This scholarship is for students who wish to study the Bachelor of Laws taught in English by IE University. The recipient of the scholarship will be sponsored by Clifford Chance, where he or she will have the opportunity to do an internship and receive mentorship from one of the firm’s professionals.

The scholarship will cover up to 50% of the tuition cost for the bachelor’s degree. The scholarship can be renewed for subsequent years in keeping with the student’s consistent academic results.

Scholarship for the Excellence in Law Practice Through the Pérez-Llorca Scholarship for the Excellence in Law Practice, we offer IE University students the opportunity to put the challenges of the daily practice of law to the test.

We have had the opportunity to welcome students in the first years of their studies. We really enjoy this experience because on one hand, we get to know the students, and on the other hand, they can see what it means to work at a law firm. This is a very enriching experience for both parties. Scholarship for Lawyering and Humanities Through the Rodrigo Uría Scholarship for Lawyering and Humanities, Uría Menéndez anticipates the common selection process that takes place when searching for our future lawyers. We help in the training, as a person and as a lawyer, of our future colleagues during their studies in law at IE University.
