Welcome, Race Fans."
From Radiator Springs to Rialto, the public is invited to rev up their engines and head down to Werner Elementary on Oct. 30 for the school's first-ever Lefty's Drive-In Movie Night celebrating Disney/Pixar's "Cars" and creativity. Activities for all ages are planned throughout the event, which begins at 5 p.m., including a student-led car show. "The real stars of the night will be our box car contestants where students take an ordinary box and decorate it to be their 'ride' for the evening," said Rachel Garvin, an event organizer and a Werner educator. "Prizes will be awarded to competition winners, their very own 'Werner Cup,' (and) all competition entrants will have preferential seating for the movie." Werner Cup, cont. on next pg.
