Mayor’s Hump Day Brunch

RUSD encourages early registration for preschool programs

egistration is open for transitional kindergarten and preschool offered through Rialto Unified’s Child Development Program, and district officials are encouraging parents to sign children up early. The three programs; transitional kindergarten, state preschool and the district’s new full-day preschool, are open to children ages 3 and 4. Priority will be given to children who turn 4 on or before September 1 and enrollment for children who turn 3 on or before September 1 is now open. Registrations will continue based on space availability, said Dr. Patricia Krizek, child development program director, “but if you want your child to start on the first day of school, time is limited.” Krizek stressed the importance of enrolling children in a program as it plays an important Preschool cont. from front
