Water Conservation Fair Feb. 20

ialto Water Services, operated by Veolia, and the City of Rialto are hosting a free water conservation fair on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rialto Senior Center. With mandatory water conservation rules extended in California through October 2016, water officials are encouraging all city residents and businesses to attend this community fair to learn the latest tips on saving water and receive a goodie bag full of free items. The fair also will provide information about senior and lowincome discounts, customer service representatives who can questions about answer accounts, and about the city’s Household Hazardous Waste Program. Note: This is not a location to drop off household hazardous waste. Attendees also will get a tour of some of the large equipment used by water and wastewater personnel to maintain and operate the city’s systems, and see water conservation posters created by local students.
