an Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College hosted two Community Coffee outreach events at Coffee Nutzz in Rialto last Wednesday and Thursday to inform the community about career training programs, workforce training, business-education

partnership opportunities and transfer pathways. Rialto Unified School District Boardmember Dina Walker, pictured far right, expressed her excitement over the opportunity for the community to learn about the resources at the community college level, as well as the new

pathways available to RUSD students. “It was a great way to bridge the gap between information and opportunity,” Walker said. RUSD Superintendent, Dr. Cuauhtémoc Avila was also in attendance representing the school district.

Radial to hire 500 employees to suppor t holiday demand

adial, a bpost group company, announced Tuesday its plan to bring on an additional 500 workers in Rialto, California, to support the increased demand during the upcoming holiday season. As eCommerce grows and expectations around delivery evolves, job opportunities in fulfillment centers have expanded dramatically as warehouse operations can have a direct impact on the consumer experience.
