~ The Story So Far ~ As Tut moved back to Thebes changing his name from Tutankhaten to Tutankhamun, his father Akhenaten’s reforms were reversed. Meanwhile, Ankhe suffered, yet another miscarriage. Meanwhile, in 1922, Howard Carter had his last chance at success and just before it looked like he was to fail again… a young water carrier discovered a step in the sands. With Tut’s death and burial behind her, his sister/wife Ankhesenpaaten’s fear motivated her to write to a Hittite prince for an heir. Carter finally broke through the last wall that separated him from the Boy King’s burial chamber…
