Chased by t he kidnappers, t he Cit y Wat ch, and t he Roaringhorn house guards, Randral and Torn remain unaware of t he machinat ions of Telandra’s uncle—who seems t o be part of a conspiracy involving hooded wizards, t he downfall of House Roaringhorn, and t he dest ruct ion of Wat erdeep. But Randral, Torn, and Talandra find a magical port al t hat t akes t hem t o… well, somewhere far from Wat erdeep. They don’t know where t hey are, but somet hing t hat looks like half a suit of armor confront s t hem menacingly…
