MEET THE TEAM ERIC GARCIA began his career as a novelist,

writing ANONYMOUS REX in 1999 -- the first in what soon became a series of novels including CASUAL REX and HOT AND SWEATY REX. In between, Eric penned the novel MATCHSTICK MEN, the film adaptation of which -- along with his TV adaptation of ANONYMOUS REX -- solidified Eric’s desire to dive deeper into those mediums. Eric teamed-up with Garrett Lerner to also co-write the film adaptation of his book THE REPOSSESSION MAMBO, which eventually became REPO MEN. Since then, Eric has written both original and adapted scripts for film and television -- often using his own novels as source material (such as with CASSANDRA FRENCH’S FINISHING SCHOOL FOR BOYS) as well as the works of others (such as Eric’s adaptation of John Searles’ STRANGE BUT TRUE). He currently lives in Southern California with his wife, two daughters, and two hyperkinetic mutts.
