Tristan Burke has long understood the transformative power of a new haircut. “I always enjoyed going to the barbershop as a kid and how good I felt after a cut,” he says. Now he’s the guy holding the scissors and the clippers. Burke had been working as a barber for several years in Allentown when he and his wife came across a vacant space for rent near their apartment in Bethlehem, and Tristan’s Barbershop was born. Burke says he’s worked to cultivate a family-friendly atmosphere in his shop. “We treat our customers like family and create a vibe that everybody can feel comfortable in.”
