Tee Off For Fun

If you’re a caregiver to a youngster interested in developing their golf game, Wednesdays are your days this summer. Manor Golf Club in Sinking Spring, a First Tee Lehigh & Berks Chapter host site for more than 12 years, will offer its summer program for those aged 7 to 11 years. Led by First Tee instructor Ryan McGovern, the program “will empower kids and teens with valuable life skills via the game of golf in a fun, safe, team-oriented program,” says owner Cheryl Heckman. No clubs are needed as equipment is available on site to borrow. A second program for age 12 years and older is also offered in partnership with Sitler Golf. It all kicks off June 21 and wraps on Aug. Hours are from 11:30am to 1:30pm. For more info or to register visit themanorgolfclub.com or call Cheryl at 610.334.8690 –
