Dan Fong brings the legends of rock to Cherry Creek North
The Colorado Ballet Auxiliary Sugarplum Ball is a 24-year-long part of Denver’s Christmas season and it was a spectacular sight Nov. 28.

Courageous 2-point conversion makes the difference By Tom Barry Cherry Creek High School and Valor Christian played one of the most exciting and memorable 5A state football championship games in recent history on Nov. 29. Creek beat Valor in the remaining minutes, 25-24. Both
Centennial League powerhouses were equally matched and at the top of their games for the season’s grand finale. In 40 grueling lead-changing minutes of extreme competition, the diehard Bruins prevailed over the Eagles who had taken the coveted state trophy the previous two years and three additional state titles in two other divisions. In a rare feat, nearly everyone, including students, never left their seats to roam the corridors of Sports
Authority Field. The Bruins’ top running back Milo Hall ran 24 yards, evading Valor’s pursuing defenders past the goal line to tie up the contest at 24 points.
