MANDELIC ACID: YOUR SENSITIVE SKIN'S GENTLE HERO

HARNESS THE POWER OF MANDELIC ACID
Despite the best sun protections, if you've spent any time at all outdoors over the summer months, a certain percent of the sun's rays still get through. Sensitive skin types in particular experience symptoms such as rough, dull, ruddy, and uneven skin. But even our most sensitive skin clients can brighten skin gently and help to diminish signs of sun damage on the face and décolleté.
Gentle exfoliation is a good way to get rid of roughness. Encouraging new skin cell turnover without causing too much irritation for people with skin sensitivities is a key factor in improving the most common skin concerns, such as dark spots.
Mandelic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from almonds, is a fantastic peel option for sensitive skin to encourage those new skin cells to turn over more quickly. Its larger molecular structure makes it less irritating than other AHAs, allowing for gentle skin renewal.
