Промяната е трансформация! В подкрепа на това твърдение, локациите на EMPATHEAST бяха преобразени от скучни, дистанцирани пространства, в партисипативни, говорещи инсталации и декори от хартия, които да провокират размисъл и участие. Локациите на EMPATHEAST: Културен дом “Борис Христов”, Драматичен театър, Кино Космос, бивш тютюнев склад над мебелен салон Галеро, Тотал спорт.

Change is transformation. To prove this statement, we transformed all locations where EMPATHEAST lived from boring and distant into participatory storytelling and thought provoking spaces. ЕMPATHEAST locations: House of Culture Boris Hristov, Plovdiv Drama Theatre, Cinema Cosmos, ex-tobacco Warehouse ”Galero”, Total Sport.

Щастливите хора са доказани променотворци – заради личното удовлетворение и желанието да развиват себе си и средата! Представяме ви „Щастометър“ – специалният уред за измерване на нивата на щастието по пътя към социалната промяна, разработен от Фабрика за идеи специално за EMPATHEAST.

Happy people are proved to be successful changemakers - because of the personal satisfaction and their desire to improve themselves and the environment. “The Happiness meter” is designed by the Ideas Factory Association to measure the levels of happiness on the way to social change.

Often the Common Good cannot reach its destination because of a Challenge standing on its way. That is why we need the Innovator, who suggests a Process and inspires the Early Adopters. During the Collaboration they realize the innovative process and overcome the Challenges so that the Common Good can reach its final destination.

EMPATHEAST is much more than an event. Place. Process. Game.

In order to visualize it, we have prepared the EMPATHEAST code.

Общото благо често не може да достигне до когото е предназначено заради Предизвикателството, което стои на пътя и пречи. Затова е важна ролята на Иноватора, който предлага Процес за развитие и вдъхновява Първоприемниците. В Колаборация те реализират иновативния Процес и преодоляват възпрепятстващите Предизвикателства, за да може Общото благо да достигне там, където е предвидено.

START THE SOCIAL CHANGE!

Целта е мечта със срок на изпълнение, но споделянето превръща мечтите в реализирани промени. Инициативата EMPATHEAST: Отворена къща“ имаше за цел да подтикне хора, търсещи съмишленици, нови идеи, провокации, приятели в приключението социална промяна, да отворят не само сърцата си, но и къщите си, за да приютят участници във Форума.

A goal is a dream with a deadline. But the sharing of those dreams turn them into real big changes. The EMPATHEAST initiative “Оpen house” was introduced to help people with similar ideas, looking for challenges or friends to open not only their hearts but their homes as well.

За да говорим за социални иновации трябва самите ние да сме готови да поемем по пътя на риска, затова EMPATHEAST стартира със смел икономически експеримент. Достъпът до форума беше на принципа "Плати, колкото прецениш". Целта - всеки един от гостите да плати след събитието, според усещането и знанията, с които си тръгва.

In order to talk about social innovation we have to be ready to take risks. That is why EMPATHEAST started with a brave economic experiment - the entry to the forum was based on the principle "Pay as you wish". Every participant was free to pay whatever amount they want after the end of the forum, thus evaluating what EMPATHEAST has given them.

“Почувствай какво са видели, виж какво са почувствали!” Това е мотото на изложбата Сетивно, част от програмата на EMPATHEAST, която беше избрана да отбележи началото на тридневното емпатично приключение. В изложбата участваха 12 творби на незрящи фотографи.

“Feel what they have seen, see what they have felt!”. This was the motto of the exhibition SENSUOUS, part of the programme of EMPATHEAST, which was chosen to be the opening initiative of this 3-day empathetic journey. There were works by 12 visually impaired authors.

EMPATHEAST и „Фабрика за идеи" хвърлихa ръкавица на творците с ART INNOVATION CHALLENGE - конкурсът, който провокира хората на изкуството и креативните граждани да създадат иновативно и приложимо решение за промяна на градската среда в темата „Колективна интелигентност". Целта бе чрез езика на изкуството - пърформанс, инсталация, изложба, акция или игра да се стимулира колективната интелигентност, като максимален брой хора участват в създаването на споделена визия за промяна на градската среда.

EMPATHEAST transformed also the streets of Plovdiv with the ART INNOVATION CHALLENGE! The format challenged local artists and creative people to come up with innovative ways to change the urban environment under the theme "Collective intelligence". The goal was to use the language of art - performance, installation, exhibition, game, etc. to involve a maximum number of people in creating a shared vision about changing their environment.

Можеш ли да си представиш какво е да се качиш на голяма сцена за първи път? А да преживееш ритуал с други търсещи, дишащи и жадуващи социална промяна хора, който не само да изпълни сърцата и умовете, но и да зареди залата и вселената с послания, идеи, желания и мечти? Ритуал за откриване на EMPATHEAST: форум за социална промяна и отворено образование чрез емпатия в Източна Европа, който покани всички участници на сцената.

Can you imagine how it feels to step on the big stage for the first time? And together with other searching and thirsty for change people to take part in a ritual which not only enriched minds and hearts, but also filled the hall and the Universe with messages, ideas, wishes and dreams?

Ritual for the opening of EMPATHEAST: empathy driven social change and open education in Eastern Europe, which invited all participants on the stage.

Плейбек театър “Тук и сега” провокираха силни емоции, чувства и мисли в участниците чрез великолепна игра и интерпретации на лични и социално значими теми. Те бяха свързващият елемент между темите, както и кинетичния дневник, който разказваше лични истории чрез изкуство и чувство за хумор.

Playback theatre “Here and Now” provoked intense emotions, feelings and thoughts thanks to their impressive play and interpretations of personal and socially important topics. They were on one hand the binding element between panels in the program and on the other, the kinаesthetic diary which told personal stories and experiences through art and with a sense of humour.

Не обичаме йерархията! И сценографията, и самите лектори създадоха атмосфера на включване и диалог по важни за обществото теми Ралф Бьолке от мрежата Transition Towns.

We do not like hierarchy! Our speakers don’t like it either! Their behaviour and stage presence were inviting and stimulating participation and dialog with the audience. Of course, the scenography played its part as well with all participatory forms and spaces.

Вдъхновяващият виртуоз Миха Погачник беше един от лекторите на EMPATHEAST 2014, защото вярваме, че емпатичното лидерство е едно от най-важните качества на съвременните създатели на социална промяна.

The inspirational virtuoso Miha Pogacnik was one of the speakers at EMPATHEAST 2014 because we believe that empathic leadership is one of the most important qualities of the contemporary changemakers.

Випуск 2014 на Академия за социална промяна! Променотворците от Академиите в Пловдив, Бургас и Враца бяха на EMPATHEAST, за да покажат, че мисия "Промяна" е възможна. Това е нашето живо доказателство как се създава общност от щастливи, уверени и свързани със себеподобни агенти, горящи в разрешаването на предизвикателства.

The alumni from the three Changemakers Academies in 2014! They were at EMPATHEAST to show once again that mission “Social change” is possible in Bulgaria, to meet each other and to strengthen the community of young, confident and passionate change makers ready to actively participate in creating their environments.

Вербатим техниката е най-етичният метод на възпроизвеждане – тя е „доближаване“ до другия човек, упражнение по човеколюбие и емпатия; актьорът дословно предава думите, изречени от друг човек и по този начин става проводник на неговата лична история, на убежденията му, на житейския му опит. По време на EMPATHEAST всеки можеше да се превърне във вербатим актьор за няколко часа!

The verbatim technique is the most ethical way of representation - it is like coming closer to the other person, an exercise in philanthropism and empathy; the actor literally delivers the words said by somebody else thus becoming a transmitter of the other’s personal story, beliefs and life experience. At EMPATHEAST everybody had the opportunity to become a verbatim actor for a few hours!

Дизайн мисленето, разбира се, имаше основно място на EMPATHEAST. Как да се поставим на мястото на другия и да създадем решение на проблем, което трайно да работи за подобряване на живота на хората, въвлечени в него?

Design thinking, naturally, had a key place at EMPATHEAST. How to walk in the shoes of others and build a solution that not only solves the problem technically, but also influences people’s lives better?

Джейсън Нарди от Фондация “Банка етика” включи гостите на EMPATHEAST в игра на... банки! Връзката между нашия личен избор на (финансови) инвестиции и тяхното (непряко) въздействие върху качеството на живот на всички ни къде на игра, къде сериозно, постави акцент и замисли участниците за изборите, които правим всеки ден.

Jason Nardy from Banca Etica Foundation involved the participants in his workshop in a game of … banks! A game which discloses the connection between our personal choice of financial investments and their (indirect) influence on the quality of life of all of us - a game which draws light on the choice we make every day!

За да можем да създадем социална промяна чрез емпатия и съпричастност, трябва да инвестираме в три нива на устойчивост: като човешки същества, като професионалисти и като граждани - думи на Хюс Хайсен от уъркшопа, в който показа на гостите на EMPATHEAST как системното мислене е неизменна част от образованието на бъдещето.

In order to make and be the empathy driven social change, we are due to invest in three levels of stability: as human beings, as professionals and as citizens. These words belong to Guus Geisen and were taken from his workshop in which he showed to all participants how system thinking is inseparable part of the education of the future.

Хляб и социална промяна или Театър на трохите - осъзнаването на сериозните процеси на промяна става по лесен и непринуден начин, чрез импровизация и сътворчество в група.

Bread and social change or the Theatre of crumbs - the awakening of the significant processes of change is carried out in a smooth and natural way through improvisation and cocreation in a group.

Покана Invitation EmpathEAT Dinner

Първата обща вечеря на EMPATHEAST менюто беше ограничено само от колективното ни въображение, защото лектори и участници готвиха заедно!

The first get-together dinner at EMPATHEAST the only limit for the dishes in the menu could have been our collective imagination because speakers and participants cooked together!

Иновативните решения винаги са по-лесни, когато са плод на повече мозъци и сърца, събрани заедно. Повече от 100 души от различни държави, професии, с разнообразен житейски опит и поглед към света дискутираха наболели теми от българското битие в най-голямото до момента WORLD CAFE, провеждано в България. Специално за EMPATHEAST пристигнаха двама от създателите на формата - Патриша Мънроу и Джефри Бийсън.

Making innovative solutions is always easier when more hearts and minds work together as one.

More than 100 people representing different nationalities and from all walks of life were involved in the biggest so far WORLD CAFE in Bulgaria discussing burning social issues.

Patricia Munro and Jeffrey Beeson - two of the creators of the format came especially to facilitate the WORLD CAFE at EMPATHEAST.

Продължилото повече от 4 часа WORLD CAFE роди 12 идеи за социални проекти, готови да бъдат осиновени, доразработени и приложени в действие!

During the 4-hour WORLD CAFE the participants came up with 12 ideas for social projects which are ready to be adopted, developed and put into action.

Посланието винаги е по-силно и стига по-далече, ако е вплетено в цветове и картини! Визуална карта на идеите и заряда на променотворците беше в талантливите ръце на visual harvester Никос Ровакис.

It's a common fact that the message is always stronger and reaches further if it's made in color.

The visual map of all ideas representing the enthusiasm of the present changemakers was left in the talented hands of Nicos Rovakis - a visual harvester from Greece.

Един от най-ярките примери за гражданска ангажираност през последните години в Пловдив - емблематичното кино “Космос” също беше трансформирано и приюти арт пърформанси и въодушевено дискутиране на съботните работилници.

Cosmos Cinema is considered one of the symbols of civic engagement and position in recent years in Plovdiv. Its space like all other EMPATHEAST locations was also transformed in the proper manner to host art performances and lively discussions of the Saturday workshops.

Playback Theatre Here and NOW обобщиха преживяното в един спектакъл, където можеше да бъде разказана личната история на всеки… и която и да беше тя, резонираше с 3-дневното пътешествие на останалите. Емпатия!

Reflection after 3 days of lectures, games, workshops, collective intelligence and dialogue for social change. The Playback Theatre Here and NOW summarised it all in one performance where everybody's individual story could be told... and no matter who was the protagonist, the story resonated with the 3-day journey of all others. Empathy!

Playback Theatre Here and NOW обобщиха преживяното в един спектакъл, където можеше да бъде разказана личната история на всеки… и която и да беше тя, резонираше с 3-дневното пътешествие на останалите. Емпатия!

В заключителния ден на форума се събрахме отново заедно, за да споделим впечатления, мисли и чувства и да погледнем в очите на другия по нов, малко по-емпатичен начин.

In the last day of the Forum all participants gathered together to share impressions, thoughts, feelings and to look at each others’ eyes in new, a little more empathetic way.
