If asked, pretty much everyone would agree that which rock and roll came from the blues and black rhythms of the late 1940s. Certainly, which songs were the initial one actually rock and roll songs are heatedly debated. But there is no mistaking the noise of the 47 version “Good Rockin’ Tonight” by Harris as obviously an early on version of Rock and Roll. At least that is what it sounds soothe to me.

You know though, songs that conquered the most as the primary Rock n Roll song was Rocket in 1988’s. The actual version of the 12 bar blues songs was official to Jackie Branson and his delta pet, who took the song to No.1 on the R & B chart.

It was originally recorded at well known Sun Studios by Sam Phillips in 51 using a studio band which was actually led by Turner. Yes that Ike Turner, the husband of Tina Turner. And of course, Philips was the best choice for recording Elvis Presley in the starting of his career.

But earlier than Elvis, Philips recorded a lot of early on electric blues music group including HOWLIN WOLF, Bobby Blue Bland, B.B. King, James Cotton and many-many others. It was actually a Mecca for the early on Eclectic blues, as a minimum Memphis taste of it.

Philips was even well known to say that HOWLIN WOLF was the superior discoveries. And the Elvis was truly his 2nd best greatest discoveries. And it is simply to imagine that the early while Rock n Roll who arrive into Philips’s Studio were largely influenced by their connection with Black Blues music groups at Sun Studios. It entire cooked jointly into a musical stew which comes out as Rock n Roll!

But the main point is, these blue songs and early rhythm were actually a part of a wide core of music that of course is a based on Religious and Black Gospel music of the 1930s and 1940s.

And that music is packed with pain and emotion. Surely it was the usual life of a Black people then was complete of pain and religion was the main outlet for describing that pain.

Gospel Music describes that pain and the surely blue music was straightly linked to that Gospel tradition. Though, the usual preacher would seem badly on the secular type version of the Gospel music. In fact, blue was named Devil’s Music by the most religious Blacks of the time.

And early music group had to sneak out to play the Blues and evaded playing in front of mother and father.

Remain it was clear that the average black people of the 1940s-1950s linked with this new creative music. After all, religion was the single one outlet for that pain. There was also sex, dancing, and drinking, with this being the background to all of it. No surprise the message in Blue reflected this a bit darker side of the life at the day. How else would people tell the tales of each failed relationships and the pain of abuse by the man and all other people who actually helped make their lives a living hell.

The look of that pain is base of what makes Blue-Music particularly early one so compelling. In Blue Music, the guitar was the main instrument, has an emotional number that can’t be copied by a piano. Maybe a saxophone is the coolest instrument that has an emotional number of the guitar. And both instruments are remaining a distant 2nd to an emotional number of the human sound. You can say that the saxophone and the guitar are just trying to copy what the man voice can do.

On the other side, an electric guitar at the time was a brand new musical instrument. And it was placing out new sounds that have never been heard by anyone. Joint with the new amplification that cloud receive louder and even more distorted than ever before, it was obvious the electric guitar would guide be no electric blues and there’d no Rock N’ Roll.
