REGULATION 4
Regulation 4 certification ensures that any water fitting used in new builds or renovations complies with UK Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. These safety standards are necessary to ensure products not only protect consumers but also ensures the efficient use of water, supporting the UK’s long-term stainability goals.
These include:
→ Testing component materials and lubricants to make sure they won’t contaminate drinking water
→ Endurance tests on all taps to check the quality and lifespan of the valve
→ Checking products are designed and installed so there’s no chance of contamination through stored or waste water entering the mains supply
All of our fittings comply with UK Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. WRAS, NSF or KIWA certifications all demonstrate compliance with Regulation 4.
