HARD WORK LEADS TO BIG PAY DAY Hard work does pay off. Brandon Davey from Meridian holds down two jobs to provide for his wife and four children, plus he is going to college for a secondary education degree with hopes of becoming a high school biology teacher. After completing work one afternoon, he did what a lot of people do every day. He phoned his wife and asked her if he should grab anything on the way home. She asked him to buy a few Idaho Lottery Scratch tickets. Obliging, he stopped in at one of his favorite stores, the Jacksons on Ustick near Settlers Park, and got a couple of tickets. He didn’t win on either. Not to be discouraged, he purchased a couple more tickets before heading home, one for him and one for his wife. Instead of waiting to get home, he scratched those as well. His ticket won $200. His wife’s ticket won $30. He cashed his ticket and bought one more ticket. He scratched it and he got the surprise of his life. “I walked up to the counter to have the ticket scanned and the machine went wild with noise. Inkom Elementary Classroom Wishlist
The Idaho Lottery was proud to present Inkom Elementary with a Classroom Wishlist delivery on May 18 in Inkom, Idaho. Idaho Lottery Management Team and Commissioners joined together to make the delivery. Mrs. McKee was thrilled and said the supplies delivered will assist in her Science of Reading programs. The kids helped unwrap all the gifts and Craig Corbett, Idaho Lottery Commission Chairman, presented a large ceremonial check representing the value of the Classroom Wishlist.
