HARD WORK LEADS TO BIG PAY DAY Hard work does pay off. Brandon Davey from Meridian holds down two jobs to provide for his wife and four children, plus he is going to college for a secondary education degree with hopes of becoming a high school biology teacher. After completing work one afternoon, he did what a lot of people do every day. He phoned his wife and asked her if he should grab anything on the way home. She asked him to buy a few Idaho Lottery Scratch tickets. Obliging, he stopped in at one of his favorite stores, the Jacksons on Ustick near Settlers Park, and got a couple of tickets. He didn’t win on either. Not to be discouraged, he purchased a couple more tickets before heading home, one for him and one for his wife. Instead of waiting to get home, he scratched those as well. His ticket won $200. His wife’s ticket won $30. He cashed his ticket and bought one more ticket. He scratched it and he got the surprise of his life. “I walked up to the counter to have the ticket scanned and the machine went wild with noise. The clerks were high-fiving me and giving me congrats!” said the excited winner. In a daze, and excited, Davey headed home CONTINUED ON PAGE 2

DO GOOD IN INKOM
Inkom Elementary Classroom Wishlist
The Idaho Lottery was proud to present Inkom Elementary with a Classroom Wishlist delivery on May 18 in Inkom, Idaho. Idaho Lottery Management Team and Commissioners joined together to make the delivery. Mrs. McKee was thrilled and said the supplies delivered will assist in her Science of Reading programs. The kids helped unwrap all the gifts and Craig Corbett, Idaho Lottery Commission Chairman, presented a large ceremonial check representing the value of the Classroom Wishlist. These Do Good activities are thanks to you and your contribution to Idaho Lottery ticket sales!

Director’s Corner
Dear Friends,
On May 19th, the Idaho Lottery Commission held their 250th Commission Meeting in Pocatello. During our travel, we visited Inkom Elementary School to deliver a Classroom Wishlist to Christa McKee and her first-grade class. Ms. McKee requested the materials to enhance her "science of reading” program. We presented numerous wrapped “presents” to the children that included a color printer, paper, laminator, and a lot of other learning tools to make the program a success. Educators like Christa McKee show what teachers have in their heart for their students and the people of Idaho. We are pleased to do our small part to shine our lamp in a place where people can use it to brighten their lives. Later in the afternoon, the Commission traveled south to Malad City, where they toured KJ’s, the largest volume Lottery retailer in Idaho. Geoff Greene and his staff were gracious hosts. Idaho is fortunate to have numerous high-volume retailers near the Utah border to responsibly serve our neighbors from the Beehive State. As we come to the end of another fiscal year with an outstanding sales performance, it’s visits like these to Inkom and Malad City that bring the value of the Idaho Lottery into full view. I often say that “every play pays” whenever someone is having fun enjoying our games. Someone always benefits: players win prizes, retailers earn commissions, learning environments are improved. Every play is meaningful, whether it’s tens of millions for a record-setting dividend and retail commissions or $1,838.00 in first-grade, “science of reading” supplies for rural community classrooms. Thank you, all, for being our partner as we build successful business opportunities for the betterment of all Idahoans. Happy Selling,
and handed his wife her $30 winner first and then gave her the other winning ticket worth $300,000 – the last top prize on the game Million Dollar Blowout. The next day, Davey showed up to one of his jobs – mowing the lawns for the Boise School District – in a snowstorm! “I could barely focus. I was so antsy about getting to the Lottery Office, but I wasn’t going to let my crew down. I never thought about not going into work first,” said Davey. Davey says that he is excited to use this money to take his family on a Disney cruise vacation that has been bumped for

There is a lot of convenience store construction occurring in the greater Treasure Valley, across all of Idaho, ranging from cosmetic facelifts to complete new builds. There are remodels occurring too, and then there’s the renovation occurring at Jacksons #3 in Wilder. At the time of publishing, Jacksons #3 was more of an insulated plywood encased store inside part of the store frame. It sits in one little corner in the frame of the store as the rest is being gutted and remodeled. In mid-April, Jacksons requested that Lottery be returned to the store so it could be offered to players during the renovation. The current state of restoration allowed for that, and the Lottery quickly got the store up and running. A week later, Steve Julian of Wilder, a local, regular player stopped in and purchased some Lottery scratch tickets. He scratched the tickets in the parking lot and brought one of them back into the store to verify it was the big winner. Sure enough, the music played on the terminal and Steve had just won the last top prize of $100,000 on the scratch game Nuts for Cash. The next day, Steve claimed his prize from Lottery offices in Boise. His plan for his big winnings? Celebrate by going out to dinner and then living a little more comfortably. For selling the winning ticket, Jacksons receives a bonus of $10,000 which will go a long way toward finishing the remodel!
EVERY DAY GAMES Sum it up! is the original Idaho daily draw game. Wagers for Pick 3 start at $1. Players pick their favorite three-digit number. If they would like random numbers, they’ll ask for a quick pick. They then choose the wager type and amount to wager. Wager types include: Exact Order, Any Order (4-way, 6-way), Exact/Any Order (4-way, 6-way), Front Pair, or Back Pair. For an extra $1 per dollar wagered, players can add Sum it up! If the sum of their Pick 3 numbers is the same as the sum of the three single-digit numbers drawn, they win. For example, if they play the Sum it up! feature and their Pick 3 numbers are 1-2-3, the sum of their numbers is 6. If the sum of the three numbers drawn also equals 6 (whether they match the numbers or not), then they win! The top prize on Pick 3 is $500 for a $1 wager, and $1,000 for a $2 wager. Pick 3 draws occur at 1:59 pm and 7:59 pm MT every day and night.
with Sum it up! is a lot like the original Pick 3, only with a fourth number. Wagers for Pick 4 begin at $1 per play, a dollar extra for Sum it up! In this game, an Exact Order Pick 4 pick wins $5,000, with Sum it up! it add another $5,000 for a $1 wager. Pick 4 draws occur at 1:59 pm and 7:59 pm MT every day and night.
Idaho has six Draw Games that have winning numbers every day! There’s a Draw Game for everyone in Idaho that fits your players’ style with prizes ranging from a few hundred to millions of dollars! Not to mention that four of these games are exclusive to Idaho, meaning only Idaho Lottery retail stores may sell them.
is still relatively new to Idaho Lottery players, having been in the Gem State for about a year. In the game, players select two red number from 1 to 26 and two white numbers from 1 to 26. Or they can ask for a quick pick. Each play costs $1. Players can DOUBLE their winnings on Tuesday when they purchase a 7-day, multi-draw ticket. Matching all four numbers wins the player the game’s top prize: $22,000. If they have a 7-day, Tuesday purchased ticket, they win $44,000 by matching all four numbers. Since launching this game a year ago, there have been nine jackpot winners. Drawings for this game occur daily at 8:15 pm MT.
After nearly 11 years, this Idaho-only game is still a popular choice among Idaho Lottery players. Weekly Grand features a top prize of $1,000 a week, every week for an entire year. It has a second chance draw monthly where one lucky player wins $100 a week, every week for an entire year. To play the game, players select five numbers from between 1 and 32. Since debuting in the fall of 2011, this game has produced 43 jackpot winners! Tickets are just $2 a play and drawings for Weekly Grand occur daily at 8:00 pm MT.
This game truly is an Idaho thing. Now at five years old, Idaho Cash is an Idaho-only game that has experienced 18 jackpot winners including the largest in the game’s history – a $381,000 winner sold at Winco in Eagle during the pandemic. The average jackpot won on the game is $128,000. For $1 per ticket, players receive two plays and select five numbers from 1 to 45 in each play. Daily drawings are at 8:00 pm MT.
It’s luck that lasts a lifetime. Winning the Lucky for Life jackpot is just like it sounds - $1,000 a day for the rest of the life of the winning player. And the second-tier prize is pretty good, too. Players who match all five of the first numbers, but miss the Lucky Ball, win $25,000 a year for life. Each play costs $2 and players select five numbers from 1 to 48, plus a Lucky Ball number from 1 to 18. Draws on Lucky for Life occur daily at 8:35 pm MT.
Six every day draw games, six chances to win big prizes every day. Let your players know that luck could be just around the corner when they try any of these easy to play, easy to win games from the Idaho Lottery.
