New Multiplier Family of Games

Your players’ chance to win big begins this summer! With $6.5 million in total prizes across four exciting new games, and top prizes from $10,000 up to $200,000, well, the more wins, the more “Woohs!”

Beginning in mid-July, four new, exciting games will hit the market. The “WIN X” family of games includes the WIN 2X, $2 game with two top prizes of $10,000. There is also the WIN 5X, $5 game with two top prizes of $50,000.

Joining the summer fun and sunshine is the WIN 10X, $10 game featuring two top prizes of $100,000. This game also features a Bonus $25 spot!

The big, WIN 20X, $20 game comes with two top prizes of $200,000! This big ticket features 25 ways to win, plus offers a Bonus $50 spot and a Bonus $100 spot! Each game features a “match the winning numbers to your numbers” style game play. And based on the game, players can win 2X, 5X, 10X, or 20X their prize!

In honor of the United States of America’s 248th birthday, the Idaho Lottery is offering a month-long celebration with the $1 Draw Game, Lotto America.

Lotto America is an all-American game with an all-American jackpot prize that begins at $2 million and grows until it is won. Lotto America is as American as red, white, and blue, apple pie, and ﬁreworks on the 4th of July. That’s why this promotion starts on July 4, 2024, and runs through August 4, 2024.

When players purchase a $5 or more Lotto America ticket, they’ll receive a free $1 ticket. That’s six chances for $5 to win the jackpot.

To play Lotto America, players pick ﬁve numbers from 1 to 52. They then select one Star Ball number from 1 to 10. Each play costs $1. For an extra $1 per play, players can add the All-Star bonus to multiply their non-jackpot winning prizes by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times. And as always, players may ask for a quick pick. Multi-draw tickets can be produced for up to 15 consecutive advance draws. Lotto America draws winning numbers on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings at 9:00 pm MT.

Dear Friends,

In January 2007, my ﬁrst day on the job at the Idaho Lottery began with a ride from the Capitol to the Lottery ofﬁce by newly elected Governor Butch Otter. He wanted to introduce me personally. On the way, I asked him for advice on how to lead Team Lottery. His answer was simple:

• Do the right thing

• Treat the money like it’s your own

• Stay off the front page unless you’re giving away prize money or annual dividends

Good advice for any Lottery (or Liquor Division) Director.

With your participation, since 2007 the Idaho Lottery has returned $938 million to support public education and permanent facilities. This includes responsibly setting new dividend records fourteen times.

In April 2010, Governor Otter appointed me to also be Director of the Idaho State Liquor Division. This “temporary” assignment is one I’ve held for over fourteen years. During that time, the Liquor Division has delivered record transfers thirteen times, $1.2 billion in total, for use by the beneﬁciaries across Idaho.

I’ve had the honor and privilege to be entrusted with the stewardship of two outstanding Idaho agencies from two exceptional Governors. Both agencies must be in alignment with the sensibility of Idaho’s citizens. I’m proud that we have always earned the public’s trust with high integrity while responsibly delivering over $2.1 billion in ﬁnancial beneﬁts for the people of Idaho.

After 17½ years of service to the people of the Gem State I will be retiring from the Idaho Lottery and the Liquor Division on July 26, 2024, one week after the Idaho Lottery commemorates its 35th Anniversary.

I realize our achievements could not have been possible without collaboratively building meaningful business relationships with you, our valued retail partners. Will I miss working with you all? Of course. However, I leave with the deepest gratitude for the work you do every day, all 365 days of the year. Your continued dedication to our good causes makes a difference.

CHANCE WINNER

Imagine winning $67,076 on the Idaho Lottery’s second chance draw for the 35th Anniversary game’s rolling jackpot – and not being able to ﬁnd the winning ticket to claim the prize.

That is exactly what happened to Tammi Perdew of Boise. She was notiﬁed she was the big winner of the second chance jackpot for the month of May. But then, had trouble locating the non-winning ticket she had entered.

“My husband has a habit of giving me non-winning tickets to enter. I keep those in a folder at home,” explained Tammi. “Except this was a 35th Anniversary. And it wasn’t in the folder. I tore apart my house searching for the ticket but couldn’t ﬁnd it anywhere!”

It turned out the winning ticket was safely waiting in her ofﬁce for her, said Tammi a bit sheepishly when she claimed her prize at the Lottery ofﬁce in Boise.

Relieved, she told her husband and her boss about her big win. She says there’s been a few jokes around the ofﬁce about it. “Are you going to retire now? I guess lunch is on Tammi!” she shared are the more common ones.

Tammi plans to put some of the money away for her grandkids and to pay off a few debts with her winnings.

“I bought the 7s Galore scratch ticket because 7 is my lucky number,” she said. Lucky number, indeed! Christine’s lucky ticket was a $77,000 winning top prize!

“I took the ticket home and was scratching it. It looked like a winner, but I wasn’t sure I’d really won,” she told Lottery ofﬁcials when she claimed her winning ticket at the Lottery ofﬁce in Boise. “I took it back to the store and had them scan it. When they said I had to contact the Lottery, I knew I was the big winner!”

With the newness of winning, Christine shared she was not certain what she would do with her winnings but said she and her family would at least get dinner before making the drive back to Coeur d’Alene.

POCATELLO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GETS EARLY

On a blustery, rainy, spring afternoon, the Idaho Lottery made a special Classroom Wishlist delivery visit to 1st Grade Teacher Kristi Dunahoo at Claude Wilcox Elementary school in west Pocatello.

Wilcox Elementary is a large school, with over 500 students and is recognized as a low income, Title I facility. Resources are scarce and sharing can only go so far. That’s why she asked for, and received an Epson Ecotank 2850 color printer for her classroom, 40 wireless Bluetooth headphones, and 40 wireless mice for her students from the Idaho Lottery’s Classroom Wishlist program.

“We don’t have a color copier at our school and the lines to wait to use the printer/copier we do have are frequently long. We are also limited on the number of copies we may use, so I spend hundreds of dollars each year of my own money on supplies to provide engaging learning opportunities for my learners,” explained Kristi on her classroom request. My printer recently quit working, so I haven’t been able to print the things I need to for my students unless I go to the copy store. The color printer would provide me with an in-room printer where I can quickly print/scan things needed for my learners,” said Kristi.

She further explained students, especially younger students, really engage more with curriculum and learning opportunities when it’s in color.

“Color representation really helps bring things to life for these young learners,” she added. “With the printer, I would also be able to quickly scan and project documents or teaching material from my computer for my learners to visualize, while also minimizing loss of time by waiting to use the shared printer for our school.”

SPECIAL DELIVERY

“In today’s world of education, technology plays a very important role for learners. Our state assessments are done on Chromebooks. Additionally, we use technology in daily activities where individual headphones and computer mice are required. It has been a struggle for me to provide my students with these necessary tools,” she further told the Lottery.

Ultimately, Kristi hopes the new equipment from the Lottery will improve the learning experience and beneﬁt her students when it comes time to take state assessments.
