† MCCOY Julie Ann McCoy age 66 of Ionia, went to her
heavenly home to be greeted by her beloved mother and father Michael and Betty Wheeler Wieczorek. She married her best friend and caretaker Terry L. McCoy October 1985. Together they had one daughter Abby Joy McCoy. She was Julies pride and joy. Julies two grandsons Schaun and Ryan would take turns every weekend to spend it with their grandmother. Julie truly looked forward to every Friday night with the plan of spending time with her favorite boys. Schaun and Ryan were able to spend the last weekend with their grandmother. Her heart was full of joy when they were together. Surviving Julie are her husband of 35 years Terry L. McCoy; daughter, Abby McCoy (Josh Rutherford); beloved grandsons, Schaun Vanenburg and Ryan Rutherford; bonus children, Terry Lee McCoy and Dana McCoy; bonus grandchildren, Russell, Thomas, Kaylie; great granddaughter, Emma; brother, Gerald Wieczorek; in-laws, Randy and Susan McCoy, Vicki McCoy Martin, Debbie McCoy McQueen and John and Ruthann McCoy, several loved nieces and nephews and her loved and very protective dog Lucy. Julie will be forever loved and in our hearts. She will be deeply missed. Her family would like to say a special thank you to Miranda at Sparrow Home Hospice. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has extended their epidemic order for 12 more days, and the Portland District Library is committed to doing our part to help stem the tide of COVID 19 cases.
