† EASH George Wilbur Eash, age 83, of Cadillac, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born on March, 19, 1938 to Carl and Mary Ann (Yoder) Eash in Three Rivers, MI. On September, 2, 1961 he married the love of his life, Anabel.

George graduated Mesic High School in 1957, he then proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and attending auction sales.

He is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Rachel) Eash of Ionia and Julie (Marty) Kruzel of Ohio, sister, Luella Dassance; grandchildren, David Kruzel, Todd Kruzel, Chris (Kayla) Zawistowski and Seth (Emily) Zylstra; and great-grandchildren, Lillian, Marvin and Thomas.

George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anabel; and

† LYVERE Christopher Lee LyVere, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and superhero, spread his wings for the last time on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Chris was born on April 21,1963, the son of Jack LyVere and Patricia (Hope) Bolyard. Chris attended Ionia High School, Class of 1982. Chris left a permanent mark on Lyons and the world. He had many friends and family who spent time with him and watched him reach for the sky. To know Chris was to love him. Anyone who ever met Chris will never forget his larger-than-life presence. He was one of the great ones, who left behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. He was our hero.

Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, flying (of course), tinkering in his garage, hunting morel mushrooms, fishing, telling stories, large bonfires, and University of Michigan football. Chris loved his country.

As a carpenter and a man of many skilled trades. The “Tool Man” has helped to build and rebuild structures all across this great nation. He had many injuries, and scars, and all the stories that went with them. We all have memories and experiences with him, and he will be sorely missed forever.

Chris was the best of the best.

Chris was preceded in death by his dad, Jack LyVere and his Mom, Patricia Bolyard, grandparents, Hamp and Emma LyVere and Leslie and Evelynn Hope and sisters-in-Law, Juli Schafer Town and Jessica Anthony. Online Condolences can be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com MI passed away October 13, 2021. He was born September 27, 1926 in Wynn, Michigan the son of Elmer C. and Mary V. (DeHart) Hetherington.

Charles married Neoma Pauline Carie August 9, 1945 she passed away in 1989. He joined the Navy shortly after his marriage, enlisting in 1944 serving on the USS Boise until March of 1946, during WWII. He returned home and went to work at as an electrician at Lansing Drop Forge. After his first wife passed away, he married Verna Goff in November of 1991 she preceded him in death in 2000. Charles loved spending time with all of his family.

Charles is survived by his children; Christine M. (James) Anderson of Belding, Mary P. (David) Mangus of Lyons, Joseph F. (K-Leen) Hetherington of Lyons and Tracy A. (Gerald) Cole of Kentucky. 15 grandchildren, several step grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several step great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, son Robert Daniel, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Charles was a lifetime member of Lyons VFW and Greenville American Legion. He loved to Hunt, Farm and Fish. Charles also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Funeral Services was held at the Lake Funeral Home in Muir, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Interment with Military Honors following at Lyons Cemetery. Visitation be on Saturday from 1-2pm. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com.
