THE FUTURE OF WORK The Iconic Working From Home Magazine was born out of adaptation to The New Norm. Our sole focus was always to shine a light on the best ways to support you, our members, to adapt to working remotely, as well as searching for the best health, fitness and Quarantainment resources out there, to keep your boredom at bay as the world continues to engage in social distancing to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Looking Ahead: The Future Of Iconic Workspaces Now with the roadmap to the reopening of society & businesses in place, we are looking ahead to the future of our Iconic workspaces. In our latest issue, we have included some of the measures we are taking to ensure our members and staff have a safe working environment.

Our planned actions will encourage social distancing, employ higher levels of sanitisation, and improve the overall safety of our building users.

As a workspace provider, it is our belief that we must be in front of this situation, putting our people first and committing to new procedures that will future-proof, empower and support everyone. Moving forward our workspaces will be ever-changing, but our focus still remains the same on the service and support of our community.

Ever-Evolving Plans These actions are an investment in our staff and members’ well-being and support our efforts to create a safe workspace for everyone. As the current situation is ever-evolving, we will adapt any procedures or systems, as required, in line with HSE guidelines, as it becomes available. Now more than ever, ensuring the health and safety of staff and clients come first. We know that proper controls and procedures can reduce and prevent the spread of the virus. It is through compassion and consideration for one another that we can foster a healthier workspace for our community.

BARRIER / QUEUE SYSTEM Queuing system will be at building arrival to encourage safe social distancing entry to all locations, before passing through a scanner to gain access to the workspace.

SANITISER STATIONS

SIGNAGE

HEALTH PACK

Fixed signage and floor markings to encouraging social distancing, safe use of spaces, one-way systems and hygiene care.

Provided for all members and staff, containing a reusable face covering, personal hand sanitiser, disposable gloves and contact free door opener.

Contact free door openers are suitable for contact free use of elevators, door handles, keypads, and bank machines.

WORKSPACE PROTECTORS

RECEPTION SCREENS

These disposable workspace protectors are provided complimentary in all locations, for use by members, guests and staff in meeting rooms and workspaces. They protect workspace surfaces and therefore, users. These must be disposed of (recycled) at the end of each day.

Mounted screens on reception desks to protect staff and guests.

FOOT PUSH PLATES

Hand sanitisers will be placed at entrances and on walls throughout buildings, located near bathrooms and main communal spaces with signage to encourage usage.

THERMAL CAMERAS Thermal camera systems designed to detect elevated skin-surface temperature.

Everyone must pass through these cameras in order to gain access to their workspace.

CLEANING Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitisation across our buildings including regular cleaning checklists to be completed by onsite teams.

Where possible, there will be foot push plates on doors to reduce contact, with additional contact free door openers provided for all staff and members.

FRESH AIR / EXTRACT We will be increasing the fresh air supply and extract in buildings, where possible.

This will be accompanied by increased maintenance to ensure maximum output at all times.

COWORKING A new coworking plan and procedure will be customised to each building to ensure efficiencies, safety and social distancing.

DISPOSABLE FACE COVERS & GLOVES These will be optional and made available for visitors to buildings.

MEETING ROOMS Meeting rooms will be adjusted to ensure social distancing and safety, reducing capacity and adapting layouts accordingly.

BREAKOUT SPACES Lounges, break out and communal spaces will be reconfigured to allow for safe capacity levels and social distancing protocols.

ABOUT ICONIC VIRTUAL EVENTS Our events are an integral part of our community life, an opportunity for our members to learn, grow and develop personally and professionally. From financial advice to fitness and well-being, our objective is to support and inspire our members.

Adapting to the current situation, we took our events online in order to support our community remotely, give back, and create a positive online experience. Each week we are bringing you a range of “Iconic Virtual Events” through our social media platforms.

This means, we are now extending our events to our online and social community.

Events cover a broad range of interests under our category themes; we have something to suit the fitness fanatic to the continuously curious. These categories are ever growing and evolving and include: Fitness, Wellness, Cook With Us, Live Workouts and Live Lunch & Learns.

There will be something for everyone ranging from family-friendly afternoon performances to adult-only late night shows featuring movies, comedy, Bingo loco and even live gigs.

NOTHING SOUR ABOUT IT

WHISKEY SOUR GLASS TYPE

INGREDIENTS 50ml bourbon 35ml Lemon juice 12½ ml 2:1 sugar syrup Slice of orange

2 dashes Angostura bitters ½ fresh egg white Ice

METHOD 1.

Shake all of the ingredients (except for the lemon zest) hard with ice and strain into an ice-filled tumbler.

2. Squeeze the lemon zest, shiny side down over the drink so the scented oils spray across the surface.

3. Discard the zest, add the slice of orange as garnish and serve.
