Although this is not yet on any thoroughfare plans, this northern section of 211 was a major focus in the 90s and the need to unlock this land, between 16 and I10, with infrastructure remains. There have been recurring conversations with local and state officials regarding this potential final piece of 211 connecting to Interstate 10.
This map shows 211 today including the piece that was most recently completed in 2022.

The Ranch is rich with family and Texas history. Offering incredible original structures that have stood the test of time, Mt Solitude is a proverbial Texas treasure located in the heart of the Hill Country.
History
Charles H. Heimsath and his wife, Eliza von Rhode and her uncle, Christian von Hupfeldt, were the original settlers. Charles built the original stone structures and hand carved the columns which still stand today in front of what is referred to as “the chapel”.

Water
One of the defining features of this ranch is that during periods of wet weather there are a multitude of waterways flowing into a trifecta of lakes with concrete dams. In addition to these lake dams, there are concrete water crossings and other water holding features throughout. Water flowing through the rock-bottom creeks provide a crystal-clear oasis and important ecosystemic contribution.
