The JL Bar Ranch is evaluating the potential sale of the real property and business pertaining to the JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa and the JL Bar Ranch & Resort owned FBO Airport located in Sonora, Texas. We have exclusively engaged Mr. Bernard Uechtritz of The Icon Global Group to lead in this effort.
Approximately 4,610± acres (within an overall approx. 13,000-acre holding) inclusive of the JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa operations and the JL Bar Ranch & Resort Airport, will be offered for sale confidentially and privately for a period. This offering will be made on a confidential, non-public, off-market basis, directed to a limited number of prospective, global buyers.
The real property as well as the associated operating hospitality business will be offered on a turnkey and “as is, where is” basis. The offering will in effect be inclusive of all existing infrastructure, operating equipment, and physical improvements as well as any associated mineral interests. All non-fixed personal property, as well as all Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF& E) along with various other small equipment and rolling stock such as aircraft tugs, golf carts, and recreational vehicles utilized exclusively by the JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa and the JL Bar Ranch & Resort Airport, are included in the sale offering.

Hunting Wildlife
The JL Bar Ranch & Resort offers a variety of hunting scenarios, from World Class Trophy Whitetails to exotic hunts of Axis, Blackbuck, Fallow Deer, Red Stag, and Super Exotics. JL also hosts Quail and Pheasant field hunts, complete with professionally trained dogs. All hunts include experienced guides who possess a strong familiarity with the ranch and surrounding areas. JL’s Shooting Sports Complex features a state-of-the-art trap and skeet course (8 stations with stadium lights) with both high and low field house, a rifle and pistol range, a 1500-yard-long range, and professional shooting instructors on-hand to prepare for your upcoming hunt. To ensure your time is managed with the utmost importance, the General Store provides guns, ammo, & licenses, on-site. All hunts can be reserved by group, exclusively, or through one of the unique weekend events.
At The JL Bar Ranch, there is a passion for wildlife and the land. Much of the property remains a pristine wildlife habitat that includes thirteen thousand rolling acres of oak trees and wild grasses, extensive bird species, cattle, and numerous types of native and exotic animals. As entrusted stewards of the land, JL shows an obligation to manage the ranch to be productive while conserving and nurturing vital habitat for wild game – orchestrating a harmonious balance between wild game and domestic livestock on the property.
Authentic Ranch Tours
Immersive guided tours in a custom-rebuilt deuce-anda-half army truck are a memorable excursion for guests at the ranch. Observing the diverse array of livestock, including cattle, horses, and both exotic and native deer species, as well as wild turkeys and various birds is a feature unique to JL Bar. Take in the rich stories and traditions narrated by a knowledgeable guide of the authentic West Texas ranch life.
Private Concerts Custom Events
JL Bar excels in the ability to organize and host private events and concerts, bringing style, experience and class to every occasion. With x years of experience, the ranch has successfully hosted a variety of concerts ranging from intimate acoustic sets for 15 guests, to a full-band production for 500 guests. Notable entertainment at the ranch has included artists such as Aaron Watson, Neil McCoy, Randall King, and Michael Ray. Private events have included Garth Brooks, Bellamy Brothers, and others.
