Icomera’s XS1 unit houses up to three 5G modems (supporting 3GPP Release 16) and 6 Nano SIMs, integrates Wi-Fi 7 technology1, and features 2 x 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports. The XS1 utilises SureWAN™, Icomera’s industry-leading connectivity technology protocol for aggregating cellular, satellite (e.g. Starlink) and trackside networks, extending each and reliability for both passenger and operational service.
