Accommodation

After a day of learning fun, your group can relax in our handpicked accommodation. We select clean and comfortable places that offer good service for school groups and are well situated. We have two categories:

Private bathroom facilities – These are friendly, wellsituated places suited for student groups. Examples: budget hotels, farm holiday guesthouses

Shared bathroom facilities – A classic tradition for student groups: economical, fun, and great for young travellers. Examples: hostels, local guesthouses

Transfers

Popular accomodation locations – These locations are ideally situated for groups to enjoy day tours of famous natural and cultural wonders

Get your group off to a great start with a friendly and convenient airport transfer. Your group will be met at the airport and taken to their accommodation. We have several arrival/departure transfer options:

The Silver Circle

Into the Glacier Scenic Borgarfjörður is known for Viking history and legends, including some of Iceland’s greatest Sagas. You’ll also visit lava waterfalls and rushing hot springs.

Volcano Study & Green Energy Tour

Here is our most popular educational multiday itinerary. Contact us for details on this or other itinerary suggestions.

Visit some of South Iceland’s geology “hot spots.” You’ll learn why Iceland is volcanic, how volcanoes and other natural forces shaped Iceland, and how Icelanders successfully live with active volcanoes. You’ll also discover why Iceland is a world leader in green energy and sustainable development. We’ve included unforgettable activities like the Blue Lagoon and a geothermal bakery visit.

Day 1 – Arrival in KEF. Visit Blue Lagoon on way to Reykjavík. Overnight in Reykjavík.

Day 2 – Visit the Golden Circle. Overnight in South Iceland.

Day 3 – Visit South Shore glacier, waterfall and volcanic wonders.. Overnight in South Iceland.

Day 4: Visit Hveragerði and Hellisheiði Power Plant. Overnight in Reykjavík.
