Dorset 12-21 September 2025

Dorset, United Kingdom

From 12 to 21 September, the breathtaking landscapes of Dorset will host a vibrant showcase of Catalan and Balearic creativity.

Four street theatre companies – Cia. D’es Tro, Eva MarichalarFreixa & Jordi Duran i Roldós, Joan Català, and Toc de Fusta – will present immersive performances that blend movement, memory, nature and emotion. Alongside these public shows, eight additional Catalan companies will take part in the professional programme through online pitching sessions.

The participation of the four Catalan companies in the festival has been possible thanks to the support of the Institut Ramon Llull (IRL), through its line of subsidies

for international programming. The Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), coordinator of the professional activity linked to the festival, organised the online pitches of the eight Catalan companies.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Catalan performing arts at one of the UK’s most inspiring outdoor festivals. Browse the following pages to find out when and where you can meet the Catalan companies during the event. Representatives from ICEC and IRL will also be present at Inside Out Dorset, should you wish to speak with us for any additional support. We hope you’ll have the chance to meet them all and enjoy engaging conversations!
