SS20 COLLECTION

WE ARE FAR AHEAD By the end of the Summer of 2018, the urge grew on us to do more and act faster, because our planet can’t wait.

We formulated our pledge: To become climate positive by 2020. We decided that the public launch of this pledge – in our channels to our end-users and to the industry – would be in January 2019. Regardless if we had all the answers at that time, we believe that in sustainability, we have to start talking about in what direction we want to move, and what we commit to before we’re there and perfect. This also allows others to follow as soon as possible.

When we look back at the SS20 collection in a few years, we’re sure we will identify it as the point where we moved from being a marginal studded shoe to one of the most relevant outdoor footwear brands.

Several aspects of this collection would be important news on their own: - The design is taking the lead in giving the New Scandinavian Outdoor trend a footwear leader in lines, functionality, and colors.

- All relevant aspects of the shoes have been worked through for minimizing negative impact, and we’re far ahead of the competition.

- It’s a climate positive line from a climate positive brand.

- Joint seamlessly, all of this amounts to a massive level up.

OUR INGREDIENT BRANDS Makes flexible foams from algae biomass which cleans and restores the environment when harvested.

For sustainable coloring of our textiles we use solution dyed Ecoya fibres, where the dye is added before being extruded to fibres, saving water and reducing chemical use.

All textiles in our products use Bluesign certificate.

The award- winning BoaÂŽ Fit System, delivers closure and adjustment solutions purpose-built for performance.

Insock and collar foams made from 5% recycled rubber, 15% production waste and 80% proprietary open-cell foam.

We use RePET repolymerization process for recycled PET fibres for yarn.

DriTan process saves 20 litres of water per hide equal to 25 million litres of water saved annually - enough to keep 9000 people hydrated for one year.

Saving 600 tons of sludge that go to landfill per year.

The GoreTex lining used in our waterproof styles for SS20 are Bluesign certified and have Oeko-Tex 100 standard
