Anne Sainvil is a native of Miami, Florida, and serves as the Government & Economic Development Manager for the City of Fort Lauderdale. She oversees the City’s entire legislative portfolio – strengthening relationships with federal and state legislators. Daphnee also manages, promotes, and revitalizes the City’s economic development attracting, retaining, and growing the business ecosystem. Before joining the City, she was a Legislative Policy Advisor with the Intergovernmental Affairs Boards Section of Broward County.

Diane speaks at numerous national conferences and has She has earned her law degree from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, a Master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University, and her bachelor’s degree in legal studies and psychology from Nova Southeastern University. In 2017, Ms. Sainvil earned her Master of Law (LL.M) with a focus on Homeland and National Security from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

In October 2018, she was recognized as Legacy Miami’s 2019 class of “40 Under 40 Leaders of Today and Tomorrow. She was recognized by the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County in their 2016 Class of 100 Outstanding Women. She sits on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of South Florida, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, and the Advisory Council for the Broward College Village Square. She is a current member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, NFBPA, the Broward Black Chamber of Commerce, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International – where she serves as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.

Ms. Sainvil volunteers and mentors children at SOS Children’s Village, United Way service projects, Firewall, Feeding South Florida, HOPE South Florida, in unison with the Homeless Partnership, the Center of Orientation and Information, Inc. – her family’s non-profit organization provides food, shelter, and case management services for families within the underserved community in Miami-Dade County.
