Ms. Youseline

Poteau is a certified Human Resources Professional with ten years of experience in Personnel Management and Training. Equally, Ms. Poteau is a Life Skills Coach and College Professor.

Ms. Poteau brings diverse professional experience, and her primary responsibility is to effectively communicate the business’s strategic objectives with executives and management to drive the business forward and offer suggestions she believes will strengthen the company. With her significant experience presenting at industry conferences, workshops, and seminars, she has led the design, development, and delivery of cross-functional solutions to clients, bringing together Strategy, Instructional Design, Change Management, Business Process, and Outsourcing.

Since transitioning into Higher Education, she now holds the position of HR Director, working with line management to facilitate the restructuring and growth of Florida Memorial University. She leads the full-cycle development of HR. Before these roles, Ms. Poteau led the Orange Bowl Committee human resources department. She holds a Master of Science in Management, International Business, and Human Resources Certificate from St. Thomas University.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Education for Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Miami. Her current and previous employers include Miami-Dade College, ASA College, YP Personnel Management & Consulting, ResCare/ CareerSource South Florida, FIU Metropolitan Center, Dolphins Stadium, University of Miami, and American Multi-Cinema, Inc.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Association for Talent Development (ATD, ATDSFL), and South Florida Organizational Development Network are just a few of her professional affiliations. Ms. Poteau serves on several Boards, which include Course Mentoring with Nova Southeastern University NSU-SHRM Chapter and St. Thomas University Entrepreneurship Club.
