A hotel veteran with over 37 years of experience, Marcellia Osamor describes herself as decisive, enthusiastic, and ambitious. She began her profession with Marriott Hotels and Resorts at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis, where she worked in various management positions, including a series of Director positions.

Her career with Marriott spanned 23 years, and she applauds the phenomenal mentors she had who believed in her and pushed her beyond measure to greatness.

Her Grandmother was her utmost inspiration and has been on her “Board of Directors of her life” since birth. “My grandmother pushed me beyond the limits to challenge me and tell me I was somebody and could accomplish whatever I wanted in this lifetime!”

Adept at all aspects of servicing conventions, conferences, and events, she has built solid and lasting relationships with her customers. She has been at Fontainebleau for the past fourteen and a half years; mentoring and leading her fellow Team Members to greatness is vital to her role as Executive Director, Convention Services & Catering Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Marcellia is a native Floridian from Winter Haven in Central Florida and grew up in a large family of ten brothers and sisters. She earned her MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Business Administration and a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
