FOUNDER Black Professionals Month is the vision of social impact entrepreneur, servant leader and global community builder Jerome Hutchinson, Jr. He has built ICABA into a trusted global ecosystem assisting over 13,000 Black Professionals and entrepreneurs to succeed, lead, and prosper. BPM is ICABA's signature initiative.

ICABA's network of over 13,000 Black Professionals and entrepreneurs provides the capacity to produce BPM's events and programs, and the ICABA Community, its online collaborative success ecosystem that facilitates connections, collaborations and community building for Black Professionals and entrepreneurs on a global scale.

FACT SHEET ABOUT Black Professionals Month (BPM), held annually in October since 2021, is an unprecedented 31days of virtual programs, events, and recognitions to showcase Black professional excellence, advance wealth creation, and elevate the leadership presence of Black professionals around the world. The BPM global platform is designed to help Black professionals step up, stand out and break through into roles of leadership and create their own thriving companies.

WHY Despite gains in education and employment opportunities since the civil rights era, Black Professionals continue to lag behind white counterparts in proportionate leadership roles, comparable income, and wealth generation. BPM is a proactive and strategic initiative to ignite the change Black Professionals need to see in recognizing their excellence, advancing wealth creation and elevating leadership.
