Goodbye Ain Aar, Hello Ras Beirut

Ain Aar bade farewell to its Troisième/Grade 9 students last June by throwing a day of fun activities for them that they are not likely to forget. Most notably, a soccer match between students and teachers and a water fight. It was a bittersweet moment for the students. “We’ ve been here together since the beginning,” explained Fouad Zoghbi. “Everyone knows everyone here.” It is, they admit, difficult to leave Ain Aar, which is well known for its ‘cosy’ atmosphere. “We’ re all family here,” said Jaymee Chedrawi As for Aya Ghoraeib, the event was a stark reminder that “time has gone by so fast.”
