Legal Awareness Sessions

Legal Awareness sessions were the focal point of our secondary school advisory sessions, particularly with our Seniors! Several Legal Awareness sessions were held in collaboration with the IC Alumni Association and Mrs. Mayssam Skaf, our former Head of the Parents Committee at International College (IC) Ras Beirut School (2017-

2021), with a specific focus on “Addiction Crimes,” “Cyber Crimes,” “Gambling,” “Drug Addiction,” and “Protection Against Violence and Abuse in all Its Forms”. The IC Alumni Association invited the most knowledgeable lawyers and experts in the field to raise awareness, debate, and inform our students about the risks and legal implications.

Me, Mayssam Skaf, Me. Karim Noueihed (class of 98) Me. Sulaima Al Rassi (Class of 93), and Me. Jihad Sbeity had an interactive and “Illuminating Talk” with our 12th grade students about Legal Awareness.

An illuminating Talk on Gambling and Drug Addiction with the highest experts in the field: Me. Rita Bou Habib, Me. Claire Frem Rahbani and Me. Karim Noueihed (class of 98) were joined by Colonel Bachar Al Khatib (Head of the Drug Enforcement Bureau) and Colonel Khaled Nasser (Head of the Anti-Gambling Bureau) for an hour-long session and spoke to our 11th and 12th grade students.
