Welcome to the Generosity Guide for partnership with IBMGlobal (Indigenous Biblical Ministries Global).
As followers of Christ's encouragement to store treasures in heaven (Matt. 6:19-21), each of us seek meaningful opportunities to invest in ministries advancing His Kingdom with integrity and purpose.
IBMGlobal exists to facilitate gospel advance by serving local churches in sending out healthy members as well-equipped missionaries.

BUILDING FUND
When you give to the IBMG building fund, you free up more monthly finances to be able to better serve and support our missionaries around the world.
OPERATIONAL EXPENSES
Onboarding and training of new missionaries, strategic ministry advice, financial services, safety and security, and spiritual support are all a part of our daily operations for our missionaries.

MEMBER CARE
Our Member Care Team is comprised of experienced missionaries who can directly relate to life and ministry on the field The purpose is to provide personalized soul care from an understanding perspective. Giving to the IBMG Member Care fund allows us to care for our missionaries in meaningful ways.
EMERGENCY FUND
Good stewardship accounts for the unexpected. In today’s world, we know that anything could happen. Having emergency funds on hand keeps us at the ready to face whatever comes our way.

CASH GIVING
Cash giving is the simplest and fastest way to support IBMGlobal. Through itemization you can deduct cash gifts up to 60% of your adjusted gross income through 2025 and 50% after that. Cash gifts can help your itemized deductions exceed your standard deduction.

DONOR ADVISED FUND
If you utilize a donor-advised fund (DAF), you can suggest gifts be made from your fund to IBMGlobal Be sure to instruct the foundation or fund to share your identity with us so we can thank you for your gift

INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO GIVING
You can give shares of appreciated stock, mutual funds, or bonds you have owned for longer than one year directly to IBMGlobal. This provides you an easy way to make a lower-cost, tax-effective gift.
Gifts from investments that have grown allow you to: make a generous gift today and not impact your cash flow from other income sources.

GIVING IRAS, RMD, & QCDS
If you are age 70 5 or older, your traditional IRA may be your best source for giving.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) allows you to give from your IRA directly to IBMGlobal without income taxes. You can give up to $100,000 annually, and it counts towards your annual required minimum distribution (RMD) which takes effect once you reach age 73
These are great to give to ministries using your will or trust documents. While they are fully taxable to your children, they are tax-exempt to ministry.
MAKING YOUR CONTRIBUTION GO FURTHER
EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFT
Did you know that there’s a good chance your employer offers a matching gift program to help double your impact?
Matching gift programs are a form of corporate philanthropy where businesses match the donations their employees make to non-profit organizations.
These increased donations will enable IBMGlobal to equip local churches to serve as senders of missionaries, guide prospective missionaries through the application and training process, as well as meet our operational costs so we can continue to facilitate the ministries of our missionaries around the world without increasing the cost to them

WILL OR TRUST
Giving a gift, known as a bequest, is a great way to give through your will or trust and know that you will be helping to facilitate the ministry of missionaries all over the world for years to come This allows you to make a major gift without impacting your current cash flow or available assets.
Your will or trust allows you to give: a specific amount or asset a percentage of your estate the remainder of your estate after gifts to other beneficiaries Your gift can be contingent upon your spouse or other beneficiaries predeceasing you.

LIFE INSURANCE
Giving through life insurance is simple. You would name IBMGlobal as a beneficiary in addition to your loved ones.
You can also transfer (gift) ownership of the policy to IBMGlobal if it is permanent insurance. We can liquidate the policy and put the cash value to immediate use.
If you choose to continue paying the premiums on the policy to IBMGlobal, this creates additional charitable deductions
RETIREMENT PLAN, ANNUITY, OR IRA
If you have an unused retirement plan, annuity, or IRA balance, you can name IBMGlobal as a contingent, partial, or exclusive beneficiary through a designation form provided by your mutual fund or plan administrator. This allows you to make a significant gift in the future without impacting investment growth before retirement or cash flow during retirement
If your retirement assets are funded pre-tax, like a traditional IRA or 401(k), your loved ones will pay income tax on distributions to them at their highest tax rate. IBMGlobal will benefit from the total of any distribution without any tax reduction in the value of your gift. Also, naming IBMGlobal as a beneficiary may generate estate tax savings

The opportunity for generosity goes beyond just your financial giving. Your primary residence, vacation home, vacant land, or commercial property are all assets you could give to IBMGlobal
GIVE NOW:
Real estate given during your lifetime can generate a significant charitable income tax deduction based on the fair market value of the real estate. You also avoid paying capital gains tax on the sale of the property.
GIVE LATER:
You can give your real estate to IBMGlobal after you’re done enjoying it! You can gift the property in your will or trust, or transfer it now while still enjoying the estate for your lifetime
YOUR BUSINESS
When selling your business or planning its transfer to your children or partners, you can make a generous gift to IBMGlobal.
To make a gift for the sale of your business, the ownership interest or shares in your company must be transferred to IBMGlobal before you have a contract to sell Be sure to consult with your legal and tax advisor early
