(bag belts); Fischbach & Moore (vault); McDonald Electrical (main feeder) United Power Group (testing gears/breakers/lines/feeders) • Electrical Project Value: $25 million The work continues at Boston Logan International Airport, where Local 103 members are hard at work revamping Terminal E after recently completing the Terminal B and Terminal B to C connector projects. Roughly 320,000 SF at Terminal E is currently being modernized and expanded as part of ongoing efforts by Massport to upgrade utilities, security and amenities across the airport for passengers.
The modernization of Terminal E includes: • Seven (7) new aircraft gates with comfortable passenger waiting areas • New 8-lane TSA security checkpoint featuring advanced technology, including Automated Screening Lanes • Reconfigured international baggage claim area with more high-capacity baggage carousels • New local and internationally inspired food and retail options
