Iberostar named Best Hotel Chain at the Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards 2023

Distinguished among 250 candidacies in the marine environment regeneration category, Iberostar won the “Reto FiturNext 2023” award for its coastal health regeneration program that looks to protect marine ecosystems through the use of science and research.

Aishling McLoughlin, Iberostar Business Development Director UK and Ireland, was on hand to accept the prize, which is the UK's most prestigious leisure travel award and is voted for by Travel Weekly's travel agent readers.

This new à la carte restaurant offers a unique gastronomic experience blending the best of different world cuisines.

Iberostar recognised for its role in sea turtle protection

Turtle release program in Brazil

Iberostar Selection Cancún has been recognised by the Sea Turtle Marine Protection Program 2022.

A turtle release was held on the beaches of our complex in Praia do Forte, Brazil.

Iberostar installs sea turtle sanctuaries allowing turtles to nest, give birth and reach the sea, as well as providing a place where they can be monitored, whilst also carrying out awareness and educational activities with guests.

The initiative brought together over 400 resort guests and Iberostar employees in yet another example of Iberostar’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection in and around our resorts.

Full refurbishment: Iberostar Albuferas Opening June 2023

The top choice all inclusive beachfront family resort in Spain This spectacular 4-star complex is located in a privileged beachfront location in Playa de Muro (Mallorca), Spain’s best beach voted by TripAdvisor users.

Composed of two resorts, one ideal for families and the other suited for all types of guests, the complex is undergoing a complete renovation and is set to open in June 2023.
